What is Enterprise Architecture?

by Alta van der Merwe last modified 10 Dec, 2011 08:00 PM
On Monday 12 December 2011 the focus are on EA as defined by JA Zachman, J Ross, Nancy Wolff and Leon Kappelman.
A panel was held on 16 November 2011 in Orlando where John Zachman, Jeanne Ross, Nancy Wolff, and Leon Kappelman was asked to describe and define EA with one single slide. Each expert’s slide was required to include the terms “enterprise,” “strategy,” “enterprise architecture,” “alignment” and “IT architecture”. From there, the flow charts plugged in elective words like “goals,” “projects,” “vision,” “governance” and “business plans”.

For our last EARF session Jan Mentz will facilitate a session where we look at the results and discuss and capture our thoughts.
