Accommodation Reservations

 Hotel Rooms and SCS2 chalets fully booked - only larger chalets available



Accommodation reservations are NOT linked with the Conference Registration -  each have their own process and payments are done seperately.

Delegates are required to make their own accommodation reservations directly with the Conference Coordinator at Warmbaths Forever Resorts. 

Please do not use the central reservation system for Forever Resorts: if you do so you the conference coordinator will not be able to assist you when you run into some problem.  You will also not be able to book the blocked accommodation. The only type of accommodation that should be booked through the central reservations system is campsites (if you prefer camping in your own tent): we have not placed a block booking on camp sites.


The accommodation will be assigned on a first come first serve basis and if you have a strong preference for a particular type of accommodation, you are advised to make your reservation early.

When your reservation is made, you will be required to pay the cost of the accommodation in full within 3 working days. The accommodation can be paid using one of three methods: electronic banking (or electronic transfers), direct deposit into their bank account, or by credit card. The relevant banking details will be provided with your reservation.

The accommodation block will be lifted one month prior to the conference to free unused accommodation to other people who might wish to visit the resort during the same time as the conference. You are therefore advised to make your accommodation reservations no later than 10 September 2010.



In deciding on the dates for your accommodation reservation (and flights) please note the following:

  • The Monday events will start around 8:00 and end around 17:00, followed by the Conference Reception at 18:00.
  • The main conference's events will start with the Conference Reception on Monday  11 October at 18:00 (not to be missed as it will be filled with fun and entertainment).
  • The main conference’s official programme will start around 8:00 on the 12th of October and end at about 17:00 on 13 October (we are planning a full 2 day conference for SAICSIT 2010).

The exact times and dates will be provided when we finalise the conference programme during September.

  • Hotel  rooms (attached to the conference centre) : the price per room include breakfast for up to 2 people. Any additional people will have to pay an additional breakfast fee of R95.00 per person per day for breakfast .  Fully booked
  • Chalets (within walking distance of the conference centre): the chalets are self-catering and the price per chalets does not include breakfast. Breakfast will, however, be available at the restaurant at R95.00 per person per day (which you will book when you register for the conference).
  • For the mobility impaired: there is a small number of wheel-chair friendly hotel rooms and chalets available.  If you need one of these, please make your reservation early. You might need a car to get you from the chalets to the conference centre if the distance is problem due  to your physical abilities).
